English

No Reader's Theatre practice tomorrow. The period will be used for discussion (remaining groups to report on the Book of Matthew). There will be quiz on Monday [this is 10% of our English 1st Quarter Grade, so go y'all.] We have RT practice, though, from after 2nd elective until 6. Dress rehearsal tomorrow which means all props, costumes and the final script must be finished. Let's take this seriously, guys, this is also 20% of our grade. Someone bring a lighter. :|

STR

Continue working (if you already are). You must have your task list for until the month of October in your lab journal notebooks. To those completely changing topics: please send topic proposals with some methodology notecards to Ma'am Yazon ASAP.

Chemistry

To those who were not able to get a perfect score (20/20) in the previous drill, you still have until Monday to make up for it. Once you get a perfect score, give it to sir and he will record it. This is an all or nothing requirement.

Filipino

Bring extra shirts on Friday for Sayaw Int practice. We seriously need them. Ang wa-poise kaya ng pawis na pawis first subject pa lang (@-)). Practice Venue is TBA.

Batch Shirt Reminders

Ask your parents (or other family members) if they would want to order the batch shirt and their shirt sizes. Orders will be taken on Monday. Same as last year's ang sizes ng shirts na available. Presidents, please accomplish the forms by class by the end of the day.

Survivor!

• Each section will be considered one tribe. Each tribe should pick a tribe name, a tribe leader, and a tribe symbol.
• The members of each tribe then arrange themselves in any order they want. The ordering should be written on paper, and should be submitted on the third meeting of the quarter. Tribes should include brief explanation of how the class came up with such ordering
• The ordering will be the basis of the match-ups on all the challenges. Those numbered 1 will battle it out against people from other tribes that are number 1, and so on...
• Each quiz will be considered bith as a reward and as an immunity challenge.
• Reward challenge: the person with the highest unique score in each of the match point for their tribe. At the end of the quarter, the total reward points will be added for each tribe. Bonuses will be given to each member of the tribe, depending on the number of points they accumulate: 4% bonus on the quizzes for the 1st place, 2% for 2nd place, 1% for 3rd and 4th.
• Immunity: the tribe with the highest average in each of the challenges will be considered the winner of the immunity challenge. All the other classes will need to vote out a team member. The person voted out by the tribe will not participate in the computation of the class average. This person is considered to be in Redemption Island (RI)
• The Redemption Island is a temporary place where eliminated team members gather. the members of the tribe in RI with the highest score will go back to their tribe, given that his scores is higher than tribe's average. When a person gets back from RI, he earns for himself an additional 1% bonus in quizzes
• There might be special erward challenges during the quarter. These challenges will be for rewards other than bonus points, example bonus for LT's and special prizes.
• Reminder: Each person should expect a quiz every meeting. Quizzes may be announced of unannounced.

Deadlines for august 15 (monday):

Lab journal by 5PM. This should include the 3 Charts (Gantt, Task List, Materials sourcing -- revised or new) for the 2nd quarter activities (ending October 1). A second set of Task List and Gantt Chart for the duration of the project (i.e. until mid-January) should also be provided.

the FCR is due by 9PM (for online submissions); or 5PM for paper submissions. Online submissions should be followed by paper submissions at the start of our next STR class.

Pls do not forget to email a description (in as much detail as you can) of what you are going to do for our 1st meeting next week so I can also review your materials and methods section for this purpose.

YEARBOOK

For those people who haven't had their pictures taken (formal and creative shots), deadline for picture taking is Wednesday! Sabi ni Kimberly Ednalino, mas okay kung Monday o Tuesday kasi Wednesday is for the teachers and staff only. Talk to any batch council officer and inform your concerned teachers before having the pictorial. You would be asked to pay P150 for any added make-up or hairstlye for your creative shot. [You won't need to pay at once, so don't worry.]

EDIT: Sumingit na lang daw kayo during your free time on Monday or Tuesday. Basta by Wednesday, tapos na ang lahat. [Kim Ednalino]
