STR

The Research Plan or Capsule Proposal (for groups who changed topic) is due on Friday, 29 July 2011 Monday, 01 August 2011. [Note: Ta-01 and Tr-04 deadline isSaturday, 30 July 2011]. The Feasibility Test Report is due on Friday, 12 Aug 2011. [STR 2 site]

Submit all your requirements on or before the deadline. If you submit after the
deadline, one of two grading schemes will be implemented:

1. Late = Zero: Requirements with a low grade component (for example, the ISEF
forms or the topic proposals, which are 5% of your grade) will automatically be
given zero points after the deadline.

2. Deduction According to Number of Days Late: For larger requirements, such as
the Research Plan, submitting the requirement (with decent content) within the
quarter will be given 40% of the highest possible score. The remaining 60% of
the requirement will be multiplied by the following factors, given the following
number of days late:

Days Late Factor If Your Score Were 100, you'd get... (if highest possible score
were 100 points)
0 100% 100
1 85% 91 (i.e. 40% of the requirement + 85% * 60)
2 75% 85
3 65% 79
4 55% 73
5 45% 67
6 35% 61
7 25% 55
8 15% 49
9+ 0% 40

(Weekends and holidays are not counted in the number of days late.)
